Fiber Technician – Travel Position

We are looking for a skilled, self-driven, and proactive Fiber Technician who enjoys working hands-on in the field and is ready to travel throughout Southern Sweden together with a colleague. As an added benefit, our travel-based assignments often allow you to extend your weekends while working away from home.
About the Role
In this position, you will work closely with your colleague and collaborate with other contractors involved in our ongoing projects. Together, you will perform a wide range of fiber-optic installation and maintenance tasks, including:
Fiber installations
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Fiber measurements and testing
Building network installations
Fiber splicing
Fiber blowing
General fiber network construction and maintenance work
Most of our projects are located across Southern Sweden and require regular travel.
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, although working arrangements may vary depending on project and travel schedules.
Requirements
Mandatory
Valid Category B driving license
Meritorious Qualifications
Robust Fiber certification
APV (Road Work Safety) certification
INCERT certification
