Excavator Operator
Are you an experienced Excavator Operator who enjoys taking responsibility and leading a small team?
At NPSolution, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Excavator Operator to join our operations across Southern Sweden. For the right candidate, this role also offers the opportunity to take responsibility for a small excavation crew and ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
About the Role
As an Excavator Operator with NPSolution, you will play a key role in our daily operations. You will be part of a team consisting of three excavators (5-ton and 10-ton machines) and two ground workers.
You will be responsible for planning and executing excavation work in close collaboration with the Project Manager, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently, correctly, and in accordance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Execution
Plan daily work activities together with the Project Manager
Allocate tasks and coordinate activities within the excavation crew
Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and regulations
Communication and Reporting
Act as the primary link between the excavation crew and the Project Manager
Provide regular updates on project progress, work status, and any challenges encountered on-site
Quality and Safety Management
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company quality standards
Promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance throughout the project
Leadership and Team Coordination
Lead, support, and motivate the excavation crew in their daily work
Work closely with ground workers and fellow machine operators to maintain efficient workflows and productive teamwork
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has proven experience as an Excavator Operator
Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable
Has strong technical knowledge of excavation work and machinery, particularly 5-ton and 10-ton excavators
Is responsible, well-organized, and capable of planning work effectively
Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills
Has a solid understanding of excavation regulations, safety procedures, and industry best practices
Speaks both Swedish and English
